We are midway through Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. During the month of May, the U.S. observes and recognizes Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans (AAPI). The aim is to honor AAPI contributions and influence to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. Likewise, it is equally integral to celebrate, preserve, and promote Asian arts and cultures directly from the most populous continent in the world. This month we highlight the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, tours in ASL as they foster the bridging of “…cultures, engage the imagination, and inspire new ways of thinking.” (Asian Art Museum, 2022).
